From the outside, it's a classic Dithmarschen brick house built in 1907—but step inside and you'll discover a whole new world: spread across approximately 200 square metres on two floors, vintage furniture, floral wallpaper, and historical treasures lend each room its very own character.
On the ground floor, an open-concept living and dining area with a long dining table and a fireplace blends everyday life with socialising. The fully equipped kitchen with a range cooker makes cooking for larger groups a breeze—including all the essentials like coffee, tea, and spices. You'll also find a bathroom with a shower, toilet, and an adjacent infrared sauna, as well as a utility room with a washer and dryer. Upstairs, you’ll find four individually designed bedrooms, a separate nursery, and a large bathroom with a freestanding bathtub, shower, and toilet.
The covered, light-filled veranda's the centerpiece of the outdoor space: an exclusive outdoor living room with a daybed, seating area, and electric grill that you can enjoy in any weather. It’s complemented by a small, sheltered outdoor area with lounge chairs and beanbags.
You don't need to bring anything with you for your stay: everything's already included in the price—from bed linen, hand towels, and sauna towels to toiletries and personal care items, as well as firewood, laundry detergent, a basket of fresh eggs from the farm, and a complete set of baby supplies.
Meldorf, with its historic market square, Meldorf Cathedral, and small cafés, is the nearest town. At farm stands, you'll find fresh eggs, vegetables, and regional specialties. Meldorf Bay, with its Wadden Sea and dike, is perfect for long walks. Near Brunsbüttel, you can watch cargo ships on the Kiel Canal, and Büsum is also within easy reach.
Tourism Fee not included
A Tourism Fee is a mandatory fee that you have to pay when visiting certain tourism areas in Germany. The fee is not included in the price because it depends on where you stay, how many nights you stay, how old you are and if you're bringing your dog. The fee usually varies between €0 and €4 per adult per night, but may be 5% in certain areas, such as Berlin. It should be settled with the host upon arrival.

My name's Alexandra, and my husband and I rent out this house, which is about ten kilometres from the North Sea. I've always had a love for old things—vintage furniture, warm colours, and treasures I've found are scattered throughout every corner.
