The location of the house was perfect. Not to far from the village but due the long private drive it also felt as being in the middle of the nature.
The different vieuw from every window was stunning, the forest, church, grosses arber,...
The house had everything we needed for our stay. We loved the interiour choices and the cosiness. Also the temperature inside the house was very refreshing when the outside temperatures rose to 30°C.
The only downside was the curtains, we like our rooms to be darker at night, the kids woke up too early due the sun lightning the rooms too early. Also the village it self doesnt have a big supermarket, keep that in mind.
There's plenty to do in the region, hiking, musea, restaurants, beautiful scenery, silberberg-coaster,... we even filled a day by visiting the village itself with its train museum, the play area and the restaurant at the station.
We had some regrets that we didnt stay here a few more days.
Also, we loved the trains passing by and used them as our clock as from day 2.
