This is a special place—an old railroad house from 1877 that has been beautifully renovated and truly has character.
The space is very nicely furnished—we were fascinated by the bathroom with a view of the garden. The mattresses and bedding are extremely comfortable. The kitchen is great for cooking.
The best parts were the morning walks along the tracks to the church and the pond, and buying a fresh breakfast at the De Kramerin shop. We also recommend a walk to the train station or a train trip to the Czech or German side, and a visit to the charming station restaurant.
We traveled by bike and on foot to both sides of the border, and the area is truly beautiful.
Trains pass by the cottage frequently, but they’re relatively quiet, and there are none at all at night. We enjoyed watching them, and we slept really well.
Our only suggestion for improvement—bedside reading lamps :-).
Thank you very much for the stay and for your trust.
