The charming, idyllic farmhouse dates from 1785 and consists of three homes. When you enter the farm's holiday apartment, you'll immediately feel a sense of being in an old seaside hotel. Attention to detail has been paid, but with great respect for preserving the original rural feel. The interior is light with white lacquered plank floors and white ceilings that contrast beautifully with the dark and raw wooden beams in the ceiling. There is a beautiful mix of new and old furniture, second-hand finds and Danish design classics. It's like something straight out of a home magazine. Fantastic, beautiful and stylish decor with lots of charm and personality.
The surroundings around the farm are just as amazing as inside. The sea and beach are just 150 meters away, so no matter where you are, you'll be able to see and hear the lapping of the waves. Take a trip to Fyns Hoved, a scenic area north of Kerteminde with great hiking trails. On the way home, have lunch at Hindsholm smokehouse, enjoy an afternoon coffee at Måle Bagerbod and take a walk around the cozy streets of Kerteminde. Funen is beautiful - and offers a wealth of opportunities.

We are Maria and Jørn. With our backgrounds as artists and chiropractors respectively, we have a unique approach to creating a space that combines aesthetics and well-being. Our daily life in Frederiksberg with our four children and our dog, Molly, has inspired us to create a place where peace and contemplation go hand in hand with opportunities for play and activity in nature.
Strandhavegård was born out of our longing for more connection with nature and the desire to create a sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The old stable building where the holiday apartment is located has been carefully renovated to retain its rustic charm while offering modern comfort.
As our guest, you will share outdoor facilities with other visitors, providing a unique opportunity to share experiences and create memories with other travelers. Our farm has three dwellings, where we live in the main house and our guests stay in the old barn. This type of vacation creates a sense of community while allowing for privacy, depending on what you're looking for.
When we're not working on the farm or tackling one of our many DIY projects, we love to explore the breathtaking landscape around us. Long walks along the beach, cozy evenings cooking over a campfire and freshly baked pizzas in our pizza oven are among our favorite pastimes.
In addition, we often go to the beautiful Fyns Hoved, a paradise of untouched nature north of Kerteminde.
