The cabin in Högarp for a life close to nature

In this simple and authentic cabin, surrounded by birch trees and blueberry bushes, you can experience life in harmony with nature. There is no electricity or running water here – instead, you can enjoy an authentic experience of simple living, just like in the old days.

Water is collected in canisters provided and can be easily refilled at the nearest gas station. In the garden, there is a small camping shower for warm summer days, and the outdoor toilet offers a taste of true simplicity.

Inside, you will find warm wooden floors, an open fireplace for cozy evenings, and an old rocking chair that holds many summer memories. There is a gas refrigerator, a gas infrared oven for heating, a gas stove for cooking, and a charming wood-burning stove – perfect for a cozy breakfast and the smell of freshly brewed coffee.

The cabin is available to rent during the summer season from May to September, when nature is at its best. The large property invites you to walk barefoot in the grass and relax in the hammock under the rustling birch trees. There are blueberries to pick everywhere – a summer tradition in itself.

The cabin is idyllically located in the countryside, with the nearest lake, Myresjön, about 4 km away. The charming Gamla Mejeriet café in Karlstorp and the historic Kleva Gruva are also nearby.
