The terrace is the heart of the cottage, connecting the cottage and annex, and from the terrace you can look out over the trees of Mols Mountain. Light a fire in the fire pit on the terrace and look for stars in the night sky, or retreat to the lounge furniture under the annex's canopy when the dew falls.

The cottage's main house is low-ceilinged and oozes cottage vibes with white-painted wood paneling, farmhouse windows and flea market finds. The old barn door and the small country kitchen are painted moss green, and overall, petrol blue details add a sense of calm to the cottage. The cottage has one bedroom with storage under the large bed, and the bedroom also has an alcove so children can sleep in the same house as their parents.

The cottage's only bathroom is also in the main house, so keep that in mind before guests slip across the terrace to the annex, which has two bedrooms and a loft. The birch veneer walls and matte green flooring of the annex have a Scandinavian aesthetic, and views of trees and light are let in through the annex's large windows.

From the cottage you can easily drive to the forests of Mols Bjerge, Elsegårde beach or Ebeltoft's lively Malt Factory, restaurants and harbor.
