In the old garden, nicely shielded from the outside world, is a small 60's gem with beautiful walls and lots of cosy corners. The summer house was built in the early 60s and has since been carefully restored with a keen eye for contemporary trends.
Behind the large glass windows there are the most beautiful wooden floors in mosaic parquet, and it is decorated with warm and calm colors, which together with the beautiful wallpaper, creates a lovely red thread through the home. In the cosy fireplace lounge you can sit down and completely relax, while in the new eat-in kitchen you can take your time to cook good food or bake with the family. There are two nice bedrooms sleeping a total of three people, and there is also a cot.
Views of the mature garden are omnipresent - the large windows punctuate the whole house, so wherever you look you'll get a glimpse of the greenery. It makes for a lovely light interior, while bringing nature all the way inside.
On the covered terrace, you can sit well into the late evening, barbecue or just enjoy each other's company.

- Beautiful 1960s house with large windows that let in light and nature
- The atmosphere of the cottage is nice, spacious and present
- The enclosed garden with lots of greenery, large trees and cosy nooks
We are a family of four from Vesterbro who never wanted to move out of the city, but wanted a place outside the city that could be ours. We had a hard list of priorities and searched for a whole year, and luckily we found the place exactly one month before the corona hit. Here we found what we were looking for: space, light, an old garden, walking distance to the beach and shopping and ready for renovation. We love renovating. There's nothing my husband can't build, and there's not a problem or decorating task I can't solve.
I am a trained lawyer, but a homemaker. My husband works in investments and can occasionally work from home. We therefore often have the opportunity for long weekends at the cottage.
We love to play and swim on the many lovely beaches in the area, climb Klintebjerg, catch crabs at Rørvig Harbour, visit Sommerland Sjælland, eat at Rørvig Streetfood or Kunsthal Brantebjerg or look at animals and gorge ourselves on self-picking at Nygård.
