In a 200 year old beech tree, a fine wooden hut has been built with great heart. Here you can see the treetops and, with a bit of luck, see birds of prey, hares, squirrels and deer. The cabin is perfect for a short getaway for the couple or the small family with a hectic everyday life.
As you come up the steps and into the wooden cabin, there are two cosy beds on the ground floor with the most beautiful view through a round window. The place is cosy and attention has been paid to detail. During the day, when the beds are not in use, they can be pushed together so you can eat at the removable table while looking out over the fields. There is no kitchen in the wooden hut, but food is prepared and served, so all you have to do is sit back and enjoy the silence. There is also a camping toilet on the ground floor, which can be used at night or when the rain is pouring down, and a regular toilet in the garden, which can be used during the day. The cabin's loft is low-ceilinged, but there's also room to spend the night here. If you want to be together, you can order extra food for an extra price to be agreed. When darkness falls, the wooden hut is the perfect place to wrap up in blankets and duvets, read bedtime stories or another good book and listen to the wind rustle in the old wooden crown.
The terrace has a lovely sense of tranquillity and is a great place to read a book, have lunch or, as dusk approaches, sip a glass of wine under the subtle lantern lighting. Out on the terrace, there's also an outdoor hot tub and a wood-burning stove for those cooler evenings. There's a fire pit in the garden where you can light up snob bread.
There will always be snacks and fresh fruit in the wooden cabin, and coffee can also be brewed here to enjoy in bed or on the terrace. All meals are included when you book the treehouse, so you can look forward to wonderful three-course menus from Vietnamese cuisine - tuck into them high under the sky at the finely set table.
If you're heading out, take a romantic ride on the tandem bike and eat your picnic basket in the countryside.
