Cabin on Åløya with views to the Skagerrak

Located on Åløya, this cabin stands in an open, unobstructed setting surrounded by coastal scenery and offering views of the Skagerrak. The outdoor area is spacious, featuring terraces and several vantage points, and the rocky shores—perfect for sunbathing and swimming—are just down the stairs from the cabin.

Inside, there is a large living room, a family room, and a spacious kitchen with modern and comfortable furnishings. The fireplace provides warmth in the evenings, and firewood is included in the rent. The entryway features tile flooring and underfloor heating, with plenty of space for outdoor clothing and shoes. The bathroom has underfloor heating, a shower, a toilet, and a washing machine.

The loft is furnished for games and play and is well-suited for children and teenagers. The cabin is in a secluded location with only one neighbor on a lower level, and the outdoor area offers plenty of space for activities. An outdoor grill makes it easy to gather outside when the weather permits. The cabin has life jackets for 10 people, but tenants must bring their own life jackets for infants.

Åløya has a 2.2 km hiking trail that circles the entire island. Krabbesund, near the dock, features a sandy seabed, rocky outcrops, and a beach lagoon. The cabin offers views of Vassøy and Uvår, as well as the trail leading to Mandal, in addition to views out toward the Skagerrak.
