Mountain cabin with panoramic view in Hemsedal

I live in Oslo, but have spent most weekends and vacations in Hemsedal since the 2000s. Both winter and summer you'll find me in the mountains enjoying this amazing cabin up under Skogshorn. Hemsedal is my second home. This is where I enjoy myself, whether I'm climbing Skogshorn's many great climbing routes, hiking in the area around Nibbi and Skogshorn, downhill skiing in Norway's best ski resort in Hemsedal or cycling in the resort or in the area around the cabin in summer and fall. The family is very attached to the cabin and Hemsedal and we hope you will enjoy the location and the surrounding nature as much as me and my family.

Hemsedal is one of the most alpine areas in Norway and has the best ski resort in Norway, just 20 minutes drive from the cabin. Great hiking terrain summer and winter, organized for activities summer and winter.

If you want to rent the cabin in winter, you must be aware that the cabin is located at the end of a 1 kilometer long road high up in the mountains, 960 meters above sea level. The road is shoveled for snow around 10 am every day during holidays and weekends. If it's windy or snowing heavily, there may be delays. You need a car with good winter tires and chains if necessary.
