Hi, we're Benita and Carsten, and this little house on Bornholm is our leisure project. We love spending our time here where we can relax and unfold our creative ideas - especially Benita is full of them! The house gives us a central base on Bornholm from which we can easily get around the island. We love to go swimming at night and Melsted beach is only 5 minutes away by car. There are also many short walks nearby which we and our dog enjoy. When we're not on Bornholm, we live on Zealand, so the house allows us to spend time with family who live on the island.
Carsten loves running, cycling and sea kayaking in the beautiful nature, while Benita prefers to relax in the garden or enjoy a cup of tea in the patio. We are also very happy that the house can accommodate our adult children and their boyfriends. We hope you will enjoy our colorful little gem.

Lovely cottage with very personal decor, which made us feel right at home. The terrace and garden were also lovely. It was a bit of a shame that there was no evening sun on the terrace or in the courtyard.
It was nice to have lots of bathrooms, but the hot water ran out quickly when several people were in the shower at the same time. For example, after a trip to the beach.
Cozy TV room with plenty of space to relax with a movie, but we had problems with the Wi-Fi, which is slow and causes the TV to freeze. Maybe there is something wrong with a cable or something similar?
As mentioned, overall a positive experience. And nice to have a closed, fenced-in yard. Good beds and cozy rooms. Cool cup rack in the kitchen.
