As a mother of three, I created this cottage from scratch with a dream of a maintenance-free oasis for relaxation and togetherness. In 2017, I started by drawing my dream on a stone and since then I've designed every aspect of the house myself. We use the place all year round for everything from water sports and beach days, to cozy indoor gatherings with puzzles and views of the fjord where we keep an eye on the seal Luffe.

Overall, the cottage was nice and the view was perfect. Everything was clean—except for the oven—and everything was there as described. The location was great.
However, I must say that we had not booked the right cottage for us. It was a bit too small and had no closets for clothes. Our daughter and son-in-law were supposed to sleep in the annex, but as my daughter is eight months pregnant, she could not get out of bed, which consisted of a couple of mattresses on the floor. Not even with the extra mattresses placed underneath. So we slept in the annex. My husband has some difficulty walking, so it didn't work out well. There was nothing wrong with the house, but it wasn't a good choice for us.
