Architect-designed timber house in Mols Bjerge

You will be staying in a hand-built wooden house on a hilly natural plot, where every room has its own view – of the forest, the meadow with horses, or across the valley with the Mols Mountains in the background. Large wooden terraces invite you outside all year round, and double doors from the kitchen allow the indoors and outdoors to flow together.

The interior is beautifully decorated in plywood with a few select materials, creating a consistent aesthetic and a sense of calm. The kitchen and living room are open plan, so you can be together even when doing different things. The house has no TV or internet, encouraging togetherness and presence. The bedrooms are simple and north-east facing, providing a lovely sleeping environment.

The bathroom has a bathtub and direct access to an outdoor shower, where you can start the day under a warm shower with a view of the treetops. The house is built with natural and sustainable materials, creating a healthy indoor climate.

The Molsbjerge hiking trails start less than 1 km from the house, and from the living room window you can look down on the Ebeltoft stage. The beach at Molskroen is just a few minutes away, and in Ebeltoft you will find the best coffee at the Aiofe coffee bar. The cooperative in Feldballe has an impressive selection of organic and local products, and Duobager bakes really good sourdough bread.
