In the picturesque village of Tetenbüll on the Eiderstedt peninsula, you are very close to the sea. Around 15 minutes from the popular town of Sankt Peter-Ording and not far from the harbor town of Tönning, you will find a very special hideaway on a typical local terp.
Surrounded by a beautiful, spacious garden with mature trees, a pastorate dating back to 1780 has been transformed into a modern gem under thatch with three vacation apartments. Your accommodation consists of the two largest of the three apartments, which are accessible via separate entrances.
Behind the old brick walls and the white lattice windows of the house, a bright living environment has been created with modern design, selected unique pieces and original elements such as old wooden beams. The high ceilings also create an airy atmosphere.
Both apartments can accommodate up to 19 people in total. The larger apartment has four rooms with double beds, a family room with a double bed, a bunk bed and a sofa bed and an extra room with a bunk bed as well as three bathrooms with three toilets, three showers and a bathtub. In the smaller apartment you will find two more cozy bedrooms, each with a double bed and a bathroom with bathtub. Both accommodations have their own small sauna where you can relax.
While the modern kitchen in the first apartment is separate from the cozy dining and living area, the other apartment has a loft-like design. Here, the kitchen, dining area with long wooden table and living room merge into one another.
When the weather is nice, the park-like outdoor area offers plenty of space for sunbathing, reading in a shady spot or starting the day together over breakfast in the open air. You should definitely also explore the surrounding villages and nature around Tetenbüll.
Important note: We love thatched-roof vacation homes - when dealing with fire and electricity, we ask guests to ensure that the thatched roof is not exposed to any risk of fire. You will receive more detailed instructions from your host.
Tourism Fee not included
A Tourism Fee is a mandatory fee that you have to pay when visiting certain tourism areas in Germany. The fee is not included in the price because it depends on where you stay, how many nights you stay, how old you are and if you're bringing your dog. The fee usually varies between €0 and €4 per adult per night, but may be 5% in certain areas, such as Berlin. It should be settled with the host upon arrival.

The two apartments offer plenty of space for spending time together, but also sufficient retreats for relaxing
The beautifully landscaped garden transports you into the countryside and creates a calming connection to nature
The design of the house is the perfect combination of modern design, pretty unique pieces and rustic elements
As a large Viennese family, we fell madly in love with the North Sea during our time in Hamburg. By a lucky coincidence, we were able to acquire the former pastorate, one of the most beautiful houses on the Eiderstedt peninsula, in 2017 and save the listed building from decay. In this way, we have created a permanent anchor in the north. In 2018, we painstakingly and carefully renovated our old Frisian country house under the expert supervision of the conservation authorities and created three vacation apartments. We have turned the house into a private retreat by the North Sea, incorporating the highest quality and many personal details to ensure that our guests feel as comfortable here as we do.
Since the beginning of 2024, our WLAN has been connected to fast internet via Starlink.
