You’ll be staying on the first floor of a historic manor house dating back to 1875, surrounded by nature and rural tranquility. The spacious 65-square-meter loft captivates with its unique atmosphere, featuring restored furniture and a distinctive character. Since I, as your host, also live in the house, I’m happy to be there for you if you have any questions, while you enjoy your own private space upstairs.
The rooms impress with their high ceilings and charming sloping roofs, which create a special, cozy atmosphere. Exposed wooden beams lend the loft character, while the understated color scheme and carefully selected artwork let the architecture take center stage. Please note that the loft has an open-concept design and does not feature a traditional kitchen—perfect for those looking to take a break from everyday life and discover the culinary offerings of the surrounding area.
The open garden invites you to play, sunbathe, read, and relax. If you’d like, you can take a peek inside the beehives and taste fresh honey straight from our own apiary. The garden is at your disposal and offers space for relaxing hours surrounded by greenery.
Our village is small and idyllic, surrounded by fields and meadows, yet offers an ideal starting point: Numerous lakes with public swimming areas are 7–15 km away, and the Baltic Sea is just 25 km away. In addition to the nature reserves right on our doorstep, small towns in northern Germany as well as the cities of Hamburg and Lübeck are easily accessible and make for wonderful day trips—as do Plön Castle or the Karl May Festival in Bad Segeberg.
Tourism Fee not included
A Tourism Fee is a mandatory fee that you have to pay when visiting certain tourism areas in Germany. The fee is not included in the price because it depends on where you stay, how many nights you stay, how old you are and if you're bringing your dog. The fee usually varies between €0 and €4 per adult per night, but may be 5% in certain areas, such as Berlin. It should be settled with the host upon arrival.

Hello, I’m Ulrike, and I’m enjoying my retirement in this historic manor house, which we bought in 2004 and lovingly renovated. I love living here because I feel at one with nature and can live in harmony with the seasons. My five bee colonies share the garden with me and my guests.
