Summerhouse by the heath near the North Sea

Imagine three whitewashed houses with thatched roofs surrounding an enclosed courtyard on a 10,000 m² dune heath. Here you can enjoy each other's company in the common rooms or retreat to your own little universe. The silence and darkness of night are fantastic, and even though it can be windy by the North Sea, you will always find a sheltered spot.

The main house offers a kitchen and living room in one with panoramic views of the dunes, a wood-burning stove, and a well-equipped kitchen for those who love to cook. The two sleeping houses each have their own charm – one with a view of the dunes, the other facing the courtyard with an extra bunk room. All three houses have their own bathroom and are heated with heat pumps.

The enclosed courtyard is the heart of it all, with various garden furniture and a lovely dining area in front of the kitchen, which is almost always sheltered. Here you can gather for shared meals or just enjoy the peace and quiet while the children play safely in the courtyard.

The house is located at the end of a gravel road with the protected dune heath as its closest neighbor. Climb the dune and watch the sunset over the North Sea, go hiking or biking in the area, or go mushroom picking in season – there is plenty of literature about nature and mushrooms in the house.
