In a 'wild at will' garden close to Ajstrup Strand is a beautifully renovated holiday home from 1964. The house is decorated with flea market finds, heirlooms from grandparents and new fun quirks.
Through the glass front door there is access to the entrance hall with three lovely rooms. Here you'll find good beds and calm colors. There is room for three to four people in the three rooms, which vary in size.
The cottage is ideal for family fun, and at the dining table you can gather for board games, good food and a good drink. The kitchen has good knives and everything you need to prepare a good brunch. If you fancy a pizza, you can fire up the pizza oven on the terrace. The living room's windows face the garden, giving you a lovely green view. There's a large floating sofa with plenty of room for movie nights when the weather gets wet and chilly. In the magazine rack, you'll find plenty of delicious food magazines to immerse yourself in and get inspired by.
Outside, there's a lovely annex that serves as a tiny home with a double bed and a sofa. It's cozy with new windows and bamboo curtains. Next to the annex is a small private, green spot completely enclosed by trees with a table and chairs where you can enjoy the peace and quiet.
In the garden there is also a shelter with room for six people and mattresses. Outside the shelter there is a fire pit and fire equipment. The mature garden creates many cozy nooks and crannies, where you can always find both sun and shade. The covered terrace is great on cooler days when you still want to sit outside with a blanket, a cup of coffee and good company in the cozy bamboo rocking chairs. The lawn in front of the house is large and has plenty of room for play, fun and ball games. In the shed you'll find two bicycles for trips in the area.

We are a family of five who own the summer house 'Rønnen' or 'La Casa della Famiglia', which is an old wooden house from 1962 (and you can see and feel it) that we have partially renovated ourselves. It's not luxury by any means, but cozy and quiet for relaxation, good food and nature.
We are Jens and Birgitte and our three adult children: Benjamin, Jonatan and Sofus. We love spending time in our summer house, which often hosts evenings and days with family and friends, bonfires and barbecues, and enjoying our wild at will garden.
For us, the summer house is a sanctuary where we can gather in large numbers to relax and enjoy ourselves. We love our little oasis because it's relaxing, informal and, as people describe it, 'a real holiday home'.
The beach is only 250 meters away and is not overcrowded. The water is usually calm and you can walk in from the jetty.
We enjoy taking a trip to Paradisets farm shop in Ajstrup, Fru Møllers Mølleri near Odder, Stengaard specialty shop in Beder and Groft in Saxild (in Det Gl. Mejeri): a micro bakery with the most delicious sourdough bread. Brød'rene Juul in Malling also has great sourdough bread and cakes, as well as a small cinema, an inn and shopping facilities. Beder also has a delicious bakery, Briançon, and great shopping opportunities. Norsminde Kro og Havn is also worth a visit.
The area is very hilly, so if you want to go cycling in the area, it's a good idea to have an electric bike or to be in good cycling shape :)
We look forward to welcoming our guests, nature-loving people, families and (preferably smaller) calm and non-barking dogs and cats.

It was a really nice cottage with many fun, cozy details that created a great atmosphere. The surroundings were also just as they should be. It was a "wild plot" that offered many cozy corners and encouraged relaxation. It was very close to the finest beach, and close to shopping and Aarhus.
