Near Stubbe Lake, you'll find this holiday home enveloped in its wild garden with hammock and garden bench. The house offers many unique details such as a mass stove in the middle of the kitchen that takes you back to a bygone era and pointed windows that are like something out of a small church. In addition, everything in the house is hand carved, which adds a special charm.
Sustainability is a recurring theme in the interior design, with materials such as wood tar and linseed oil paint used to restore the house. The loft is the perfect exile when you need complete relaxation with a good book or for the little ones to play.
In the hilly garden, you can easily find a cozy nook where you can look up to a sparkling starry sky on cloudless evenings, as there is very little light pollution in the area. The garden is basically left to look after itself, so you may be lucky enough to spot a lot of insects and birdlife, which also benefit from the wild growth. The cottage also has a lovely outdoor shower and after a rinse, you can enjoy the outdoor sauna.

Relax in the wild garden where you can read books in the hammock and drink morning coffee on the garden bench
Enjoy the handcrafted decor that adds a lot of personality to the house
Enjoy the silence and look at the starry sky
We are Thea and Dennis, and together we have our two boys Frey and Marley. Our summer house is our little sanctuary for the family, where we go to unwind from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Our cottage has been renovated according to sustainable standards that have guided us throughout the process, as this is an important value for us. We think we owe it to the house and not least to nature.
When we are in the cottage, we use the forests for walks, and we also like to visit Ebeltoft town, where we go to cafés and stroll around the cozy streets. Mols Bjerge is definitely worth exploring, as are Boeslum Strand and Ree Park Safari.
