Nostalgic cabin with views at Lifjell

At an altitude of 700 meters above sea level, just two hours from Oslo, an authentic mountain cabin from the 1950s awaits you. Here you can turn back time and find peace and quiet in the beautiful surroundings of Lifjell.

The 54 square meter cabin offers a well-thought-out floor plan with an open living room and kitchen. The interior is characterized by patinated pine and pastel colors from the 1950s, with an inviting corner sofa and a cozy fireplace as natural gathering points. The cabin has electricity but no running water. You will need to bring your own drinking water. There is 200 liters of rainwater connected to a garden hose outside, as well as an equally large water tank for washing water, which also has a spin dryer, washbasin, and foot pump shower.

On the large 3.5-acre natural plot, you will always find a perfect spot in the sun. Enjoy your morning coffee on the porch while watching for hares, or gather around the barbecue on the stone patio when the evening sun colors the sky.

From the cabin, you have endless hiking opportunities in all directions. Take a refreshing dip in the mountain lake ten minutes away, visit Lifjellstua for a good dinner, or take a trip to Bø Sommarland and Høyt og Lavt climbing park, which are only a short drive away.
