Home among trees with architectural flair

In the middle of nature and not far from one of the most beautiful beaches in Denmark, this beautiful newly built cottage is surrounded by trees and has a beautiful architectural expression, where the bright, airy rooms and the smell of new wood will make your shoulders drop as soon as you step over the doorstep.

The décor is Nordic and simple, and throughout the house the large, transomed windows provide a beautiful light and a lovely view of nature and the garden outside. The spacious, open-plan kitchen, living and dining room all come together to provide plenty of space to enjoy each other's company, and there's plenty of room to enjoy wonderful meals or challenge each other to board games at the large dining table.

Outside, you'll also find everything you could want for some great cottage days. On the three wooden terraces surrounding the cottage you can enjoy the sun from early morning to late evening, and if it gets too hot on a summer's day you can slip under the lovely outdoor shower. In the outdoor kitchen you can cook all kinds of meals to enjoy on the terraces, and if you're more into cooking over a fire there's also a fire pit. Here you can snuggle up around the fire and even sleep in the cottage's shelter if you want to feel nature even closer.

Just opposite the cottage is a communal area with a small football pitch. You can also visit the Tegner Museum, which is close to the cottage. Around the museum is a beautiful, protected heather-covered hillside landscape called 'Russia', where you can both experience the beautiful scenery and see several of Rudolf Tegner's sculptures in the landscape. Just a few kilometres away you will also find the North Zealand Bird Park, where you can see the parrots and cockatoos flying in a show every day. There are also goats to pet, large tortoises, reptiles, monkeys and a host of different birds.
