We are a family of 5 who live on a beautiful country estate in Kvistgård. Here we have a large garden with a horse paddock, lake and of course our little gem of a log cabin. We call it Swiss Hut, because we have decorated it like a ski hut in the Alps. We have been skiing ourselves for many years, and we love the coziness associated with a log cabin. That's why we've purified the Alpine style with rustic wooden beams, soft lambskins and unique finds that provide the setting for relaxation and togetherness.
When we spend time in the chalet, we enjoy unplugging and relaxing in the chalet sauna. On chilly days, we light up the wood-burning stove and put a good vinyl on the record player, which creates a unique atmosphere of peace and well-being. When we go on an excursion, we like to visit the art museum Louisiana or Kronborg, just as we enjoy a walk on Humlebæk Strand, which ends with a tasty lunch at Gl. Humlebæk Kro. All in all, we use our log cabin to unplug, enjoy each other's company and think of skiing in the Alps.
