The summer house is situated on a lovely plot with a lovely lawn, old birch trees and lots of blackberries, and there is plenty of opportunity to relax both on the terrace or in front of the fireplace.
There are plenty of opportunities for shorter and longer walks, as well as cycling and water sports. Within a 10-minute drive you can experience fantastic food and produce, for example at Birkemosegaard, a biodynamic farm combined with a farm shop and restaurant. You can also visit Odden Fisk, which is known for both its home-smoked fish and its excellent selection of seafood.

My name is Iben, and I live in Copenhagen with my husband Toke. I am a screenwriter and my husband works as a sustainability consultant, and together we have two sons, Frederik and Anton. We love to travel and to open our homes to people from other countries. We've had our cottage since April 2020, when we bought it from an architect couple, and we really like sharing it with others and making it personal for guests to be here. Having a summer house was an old dream for us, and since we have family in Aarhus, it was a good fit to have a summer house at Odden, which is only 70 minutes from Copenhagen.
We think the harbour town nearby is really nice - the cottage is generally in a nice peaceful area. The cottage is close to Birkemosegaard, where you can really get delicious food.
