Wooden cabin from the 70s at tree line in Geilo

Here you will stay in a traditional wooden cabin from the 1970s, just below the tree line with views of Havdalshovda and Hallingskarvet. The stone-paved, west-facing terrace is perfect for evenings around the fire pit, and on cool evenings you can light the fireplace while relaxing in the cozy corner sofa.

The cabin has retained its authentic mountain cabin feel without TV and Wi-Fi, so you can unwind and enjoy the peace and quiet. The open living room with fireplace creates a warm atmosphere, and the interior invites you to socialize and relax.

The outdoor area has a west-facing stone-paved terrace where you can gather around the fire pit and enjoy the mountain views. Here, you are close to nature and have a good starting point for hikes.

Please note that you have to pass a barrier to get to the cabin - each passage costs NOK 75.

There are great hiking opportunities both along the gravel road into the national park and to Bælgvann, which is a popular hike with children. The hike from Vestreim Fjellstugu up towards Hallingskarvet is also worth experiencing. Geilo town center is 12 minutes away with shops, restaurants, bike trails, and a climbing park.
