The garden is perfect for active families with space for volleyball, soccer, and other outdoor games. You can also take the kayak out and paddle around the island of Skanhagen on the opposite shore, where you can see swans, ducks, geese, and birds of prey such as the osprey. With a little luck, you might even see a golden eagle.

Take a walk along the fjord to Støvringgård Kloster or hop on Denmark's oldest car ferry at Mellerup. Visit the Coast and Fjord Center or explore Randers, just 10 km away, with Randers Rainforest, theater, and charming half-timbered houses in the pedestrian street. In Albæk, you will find Klyngehuset, which offers communal activities.
