Situated 1,000 meters above sea level, this cabin offers an escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, just three hours from Oslo. There are no ski lifts or neighbors in the immediate vicinity, just peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings.
Inside, the cabin is personally and atmospherically decorated. Smart solutions such as remote heating control and a new fireplace ensure a comfortable arrival. The main cabin sleeps 5, and there's also an annexe that sleeps 4, making the cabin ideal for up to 8 guests. Candlelight and a warm fireplace create the perfect atmosphere after a day in the great outdoors.
The outdoor area includes a large terrace with seating and an Espegård fire pit, perfect for cozy evenings under the stars. The large grounds provide plenty of space for children to play and explore.
The surroundings offer outstanding opportunities for outdoor activities. Top-quality cross-country ski trails, fantastic hiking opportunities and views of several famous mountain peaks are right outside the door. The Furuly cabin at Sangefjell in Ål municipality has been in the family since the 1970s. My husband and I took over the cabin in 2016 and have since made significant upgrades. We think the cabin is homely, warm and personal and has a good energy. Here we relax with family and friends, enjoy long walks and relax in front of the fireplace. With new wireless broadband, there are also great opportunities for cabin offices. The cabin means a lot to us and we hope you will enjoy it as much as we do!
