My name is Fredrik and I work in the design industry. A few years ago I bought my lovely summer house with my parents, who live in Norway. Here I can relax from a busy everyday life with friends and family, but I also use the house as a creative space and work with ceramics, paint, write or just get inspired by nature. It's been important for me to keep the original details of the house from the 70s, but at the same time I've added some more contemporary design elements. I love that the house is close to both the beach and the forest, and my favorite thing is waking up to birds chirping from the trees in the garden.
When I'm here, I like to start and end the day at the beach, which is only a five-minute bike ride from the house. I also often go for nice walks or runs in Asserbo Plantage. Sometimes I cycle around and visit the area's farm shops, while Liseleje also has cozy cafés, shops and restaurants that are worth a visit. When I have guests, we like to drive past the museum in Knud Rasmussen's House.
