Settle in dunes and sand near Skagen

Unspoilt and surrounded by dunes, marram grass, heather and pine forest, you will find Hyttefadet - a charming, architect-designed cottage where the whole family or group of friends can gather. Just a walk from Hulsig's child-friendly beach and a stroll from the beautiful holiday resort of Skagen.

The summer house was designed by the Danish church architect Holger Jensen in 1968, and you can especially feel the architect's touch in the large open kitchen-living room with clean lines and fantastic light. Here you can snuggle up around the fireplace in the cosy corner while the rain pours outside the windows, or gather around the plank table for meals with a view of the grounds' distinctive, raw nature.

All around, you'll find nice touches like the bathroom's bunkhouse and the fish net for the kids' top bunk - a sure hit with the kids. Spread out in the cottage's three cosy bedrooms, two with double beds and all with views of the countryside. The lucky ones will have direct access from the bedroom to the morning terrace, perfect for morning coffee and a peaceful moment while the sun rises.

From the living room you can step directly out onto the covered, south-facing terrace and explore the 6000 sqm nature plot, where three pits provide shelter on windy days. You can also trundle along pleasant paths one kilometre to Hulsig's white sandy beach. Or you can head for the old artists' colony of Skagen and enjoy delicious meals and rich cultural life.
