I live in Copenhagen with my girlfriend and two children. I am originally from Norway where I grew up. My mom is Swedish, from Malmö, so they bought the summer house in Österlen in the 70s, because they wanted a place to spend their summer vacation closer to my mom's family. "We are a big group of siblings and we have spent all our summers in the house. Now we meet there, several generations, children and grandchildren and have a few weeks there every summer. The place has a very special calm, you kind of drop your shoulders when you get there. We love the simple life in the house, that you don't have everything you have at home - such as a dishwasher and TV. But that you can do the dishes together, or play cards in the evenings. It is located at the end of a road, with a cow garden on all sides. And we love the cute cows almost as much as the house, they help create the tranquility that is so special to the place.
