There were two of us staying in this cozy vacation home, and overall we felt very comfortable there. It offers a surprising amount of comfort for a typical log cabin. However, because of the way it’s built, spiders often find their way inside at night—anyone who’s afraid of spiders should be aware of this. We especially liked being able to use the large garden and the small vegetable patches.
Communication with Henrik was excellent. Since we had overlooked the fact that bed linens and towels weren’t provided, he helped us out at the last minute—thank you very much for that!
A few minor things could be improved: The espresso machine shown in the listing wasn’t there. Some of the chairs are starting to show their age. The cushions for the sunroom and the outdoor area have mold stains and smell musty, probably because the sunroom leaks a bit when it rains. Also, a shower curtain would be useful so the bathroom doesn’t get completely wet when showering.
