Henrik was born and raised in Skagen. Trine is from South Zealand and moved to Skagen when she met Henrik in 2005. Together we have 2 children, Christian, now 16 years old, and Anne-Mai, 12 years old. We have a very special relationship with the cottage life. Every year we cross Denmark from Skagen to Vordingborg to enjoy our family summer house. Our relationship with our summer house has led us to buy another one in Kandestederne, which is much closer to our home in Skagen. It's a holiday home with just the right atmosphere - for us. We come here to be together, relax and recharge in the middle of the raw nature. It's high up in the sky, which gives us new energy. Here, it's the peace and quiet and the view that are paramount.
We love spending time in the area. In Kandestederne is the cozy Hjorts Hotel, where in the summer you can sit in the garden until the late evening hours under the stars and string lights. We also enjoy the sunset from the Ice Bunker, which is definitely worth a visit.

We had a wonderful vacation! The house is equipped with everything you need for a wonderful vacation. The living area is beautiful. A large window with a view of the dunes. The sunsets were especially great. The house is very quiet and there is a nice path to the beautiful and quiet beach. We would love to come again.
