The Count's House is one of the most beautiful houses belonging to Engestofte Estate. The house has just been completely renovated with respect for history and with many fine details.
Inside, there are high ceilings and fine panelling on all the walls on the ground floor. The whole house can accommodate 10-11 people in the different, beautiful bedrooms. The large master bedroom even has its own bath and dressing room. So the summer house can accommodate a very large family.
The kitchen also has enough space for you to let your loved ones take centre stage. You can both bake nice bread or cook for the really big Christmas dinner. If it's time to relax, you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the cosy library room or put on a film in the TV room. The entire cottage is decorated with personal finds and old family photos.
From the outside you can see a white-brick half-timbered house with a thatched roof and small windows. Here you can play hide and seek in the large, wild garden or enjoy the sunshine on the lawn or terrace, where there is also a barbecue.
Walk about 750 metres to enter the estate's private park. From here you can use the bathing bridge, so you can swim, fish or go canoeing in the summer.

Highlights from Lise

The summer house is located in the beautiful nature with a wild garden, tall trees and close to the lake
The historic setting is ever-present; both inside and out
The area is full of wonderful experiences for the whole family
My name is Lise and together with my sister we run Engestofte Estate, which is located in the middle of beautiful nature. We love the place and we want to bring life to the countryside and revive the beautiful old houses on the site. We have restored the historic houses ourselves, respecting the surroundings and the original details. We have made a point of selecting furniture from both our childhood homes and furniture with history and charm.
The area has a lot to offer. For example, both Knuthenborg Safari Park and Lalandia in Rødby are great destinations for families with children. If adults are in for a tasty treat, stop by Krinkerup Brewery, where they have tastings and great devices. In general, there are many manor houses, castles and fine farm shops with local produce on Lolland to visit. If you love nature, you can canoe on the lake and fish all year round.

Practical, large house with lots of charm and space for our whole family (10 adults, 4 small children). The kitchen is small for so many people. The house felt damp despite constant airing. A couple of the toilets occasionally had a sewer smell.
Lovely large garden which we enjoyed.
