The cabin is our sanctuary - it's where we go to get closer to nature and each other. Here we can take a break from everyday life and explore our own little corner of the world, where we can both enjoy the peace and togetherness together, or explore the mountains and all the activities nature in the area offers.
Right outside the cabin there are great ski slopes, which are just far enough away that other hikers don't get too close. In summer, the mountains are full of opportunities, whether you want to stay in the forest around the cabin or go on longer hikes in the high mountains. If you just want to relax and enjoy yourself, we like to take the just the right length of walk down to the shop or to Blefjell Lodge, which has a cozy café and restaurant.
One of the things we appreciate the most is the large windows, which make it feel like nature is coming right into the cabin. It's not uncommon to sit at the breakfast table and see hare tracks in the snow or curious squirrels climbing the trees - and the view of the mountains and forest when darkness falls in the evening is just as beautiful.
