The property extends down to a small cove, which you share with your neighbors. Here, three kayaks are available for trips through the archipelago. In late summer and fall, you can pick mushrooms and berries in the surrounding area.
Edholmen Marina is just a five-minute walk away, featuring a restaurant, pub, and grocery store. Take the ferry from Skjærhalden to go island hopping, visit the Makø summer café on Sandøy, or drive 40 minutes to Fredrikstad and Gamlebyen. Coastal trails and wooded areas offer wonderful walks or bike rides.

We are a family of three who bought the cabin in 2015. We come here as often as we can and love being close to nature and all the opportunities for activities both on the water and on land. Here, we start the day with morning coffee in the sun and end it with beautiful sunsets.
The cabin was originally built in the 1960s. Eight years ago, we hooked it up to running water, built a bathroom and kitchen, and completely renovated the cabin.
