Fairytale cabin in the heart of Norway

I have grown up with Ellingbu since 1963, and the cabin has been a beloved gathering place for the family throughout all seasons.

We have recently upgraded the cabin with all modern amenities, including electricity, water, and a sauna. It is well insulated, and the conservatory has large panoramic windows. The interior has been retained to preserve its personal atmosphere.

Now we want to share this special place with others who can appreciate its unique location and the tranquility of the mountains.

It is the complete freedom and all the possibilities of being at a cabin close to the mountains that provide peace and many wonderful experiences in the surrounding area. There are many wonderful hikes and bike rides in the mountains and forest, as well as downhill skiing right by the cabin and miles of cross-country skiing nearby in winter.

Bikes are also available to borrow; two medium-sized mountain bikes.

At the cabin, we love to light a fire and barbecue in the yard, chop wood for our own use. There are also many outdoor and indoor games that provide enjoyment for young and old alike. There is a bookshelf with a wide range of literature for gray days. Then it's cozy with an open fireplace in the living room and a good sofa. Or sit in the heated conservatory with a wide view of the valley. There are many possibilities, and I recommend a minimum of 3 days to really experience the good cabin life in Norway.
