Our names are Reidunn and Ole, and one of us will welcome you.
9 years ago we inherited this farm from my grandfather. Haukali was my childhood paradise and the choice to take over was easy.
Despite its proximity to civilization (45 minutes from Stavanger), Haukali is still perceived as "the end of the world". Maybe that's why we enjoy living here so much. We are surrounded by the most beautiful mountains, valleys and water.
On the farm we have sheep, horses and chickens.
With age, I became interested in the ancestors in Haukali, both living and living conditions created curiosity and the desire to create/build a Husmannshus on the farm. With support from Innovation Norway, we were given the opportunity to build this beautiful building, which was a common dwelling in the 1850s for the poor in Norway.
I was both amazed and curious about the poor and hard-working lifestyle and living conditions that characterized life just 150 years ago.
If we wish, we can talk about the poor and simple conditions, the long working day and the struggle to survive.

Until 7 days before the agreed time of arrival, you can cancel for a 50% refund. If you cancel less than 7 days before the agreed time of arrival you will not be refunded.
