Historic farm from the 1500s in Valle

Bjørgum Gard has been in the same family for generations, and the oldest part dates back to the late 1500s. The farm has nurtured silversmiths and fiddle players who have shaped the culture of Valle, the capital of Setesdal. Here you can experience authentic history in a rural oasis.

The kitchen is the heart of the house, with plenty of space for cooking and gathering. There are two living rooms to choose from: one with a large sofa and TV with Apple TV, and the old living room with a fireplace and original timber walls from the 1500s. The newly renovated annex has a fireplace, sofa, and TV.

Outside, you will find several patios where you can relax and enjoy the surroundings. You can move around according to the weather and your mood, and find your favorite spot on the property.

Bjørgum is located in the heart of Setesdal. You will experience Norwegian nature and culture up close, with Valle as a base for exploring the area.
