We are Line and Peter and for us, cottage life is a respite from the city. A place where we can relax, light up the wood-burning stove, take a hot bath in the outdoor pool and our son can nap in the garden without containers being moved around and caretakers walking around with their leaf blowers. We care about quality, both in the food we eat and the things we surround ourselves with. That's why the kitchen is equipped with proper utensils and ingredients. We love to go on second-hand hunts and find personal items for the house, and there is quite a collection of vintage dinnerware right now. It's important to us that the house exudes cosiness, warmth and personality.
We love going to Rokkedyssegaard for fresh berries, vegetables, ice cream and pick-your-own field bouquets. Heatherhill for the beautiful scenery, and the Rhubarb Orchard for lunch and to say hello to the pigs. When we need to shop for the cold table we head to The Fresh Fish and Butik Bakkegården for delicacies. And of course Tisvilde is close by if you miss sourdough and Copenhagen.
