Idyllic summerhouse with beautiful details

Between tall trees and in a very sunny spot is a fantastic holiday home for small families. The garden is private, the water in the outdoor shower is warm and the coziness is undoubtedly paramount. Every detail has been taken care of - both inside and out.

The living room with the beautiful Dinesen floors is without a doubt the heart of the cottage: the kitchen, dining area, wood-burning stove and sofa are all together and this is where everything happens. Here the family is gathered around whatever you're doing - whether it's cooking in the well-equipped carpentry kitchen, playing games at the dining table or reading aloud on the sofa. There are two bedrooms at opposite ends of the house, so you don't have to be right next to each other. One bedroom has a cot and a small workstation where you can sit with your computer. The guest room has a changing table and a small double bed. The toilet is Copenhagen small with a shower, but from April to October you can bathe in the outdoor shower under the open sky. It's incredible to stand under the warm water while the birds chirp and you can look up into the treetops.

The terrace is sunny from morning to evening, and in the summer the trees completely cover it, giving you complete privacy from neighbors and prying eyes. Should you feel like working out and burning off energy, there are kettlebells, TRX and a pull-up bar in the shed. In the garden you'll find a lovely lawn, lots of plants around the house, a hammock and a fire pit. It's decorated with string lights and a lovely setup with a large garden sofa, two sun loungers and a lounge chair. This place is perfect for the small, new family looking to get out of the city.
