Saturday flea market in Tisvildeleje

Flea market at Birkepladsen right by the station in Tisvilde is a local attraction. Here, holidaymakers and locals meet on Saturday mornings during the summer months to stroll around and look for flea market finds among the large selection of antiques, clothes and trinkets. If you need a refreshment after your second-hand hunt, you can get a cup of coffee at the coffee cart.

Tisvilde Antik

Tisvildeleje has more second-hand gold to offer than just the Saturday flea market. For example, stop by Tisvilde Antik, which is open Thursday to Sunday and has collected everything a vintage heart could desire, from patinated furniture, mussel-painted china, designer finds, vintage lamps in pastel and much more.

Esthers Garage

Esthers Garage on the outskirts of Tisvildeleje houses a cozy mix of new and old for the summer house and garden. For example, you can look at adorable accessories for the garden, new quality and luxury interior and old French and Swedish vintage lamps. Esthers Garage is not the place where you will find antiques for a steal, but if you are looking for a very special find to complete your summer house decor, a visit to the vintage shop is obvious.

Zazar Antique

Far from mall shopping and generic interiors, Zazar Antique is located in Hornbæk. You can quickly spend time browsing around the small red vintage shop in the green surroundings. Lose yourself in artworks for the walls, busts and vases and wicker furniture in a colorful antique universe with an eye for detail.

Oles Genbrug and Antikmarked

Right by Arresø on Vanggården in Frederiksværk you will find Oles Genbrug and Antikmarked. Vanggården spans a full 2000 square meters, so there is room for everything from furniture and antiques to glass, vases, ceramics and art and anything else a flea enthusiast might miss. The owner of the second-hand shop, Ole, travels around collecting good flea market finds in both Denmark and Sweden, so there is always something new on the shelves.

Katrines kommode

Not far from Ole's Genbrug, a little more centrally in Frederiksværk, is Katrines kommode. Here you will find, for example, Piet Hein plates and Wiinblad jars on the shelves, but also furniture, vases and lamps in pastel colors and trinkets that you might remember from your grandparents' home. Stay updated on Katrines kommode's selection on Instagram, where you can also make a good second-hand purchase.

Loppegården in Gilleleje

Loppefabrikken in Liseleje

In the small yellow house with heart shutters you will find Loppefabrikken in Liseleje, a second-hand shop with everything from retro gold in bright colors to antiques in romantic light country style. Follow the selection on Instagram, and perhaps combine a visit to Loppegården with a trip a little further inland to Oles Genbrug.

Summer market in the seaside towns

During the summer months, market stalls are held in the charming old seaside towns of Rågeleje, Liseleje and Gilleleje. Combine a morning dedicated to flea markets with a visit to the holiday town of Liseleje and an ice cream at the ice cream parlor right opposite the square. Or take the opportunity to stroll through Gilleleje's streets with small rose-covered houses and have lunch at the fishing harbor.

Farm sale at Gunnerøglegård

Go to a real farm sale at Gunnerøglegård at Røglevej 2 in Helsinge. The farm sale is always open, and the owner of the flea market, Mette, regularly adds new items to the selection, which includes beautiful home finds and a true second-hand heaven of china and glass.

Komisen

After the farm visit, you can continue along the second-hand route and stop by Komisen in Helsinge – a 700 square meter second-hand supermarket where you can rent a stand and sell your discarded treasures. This creates a quirky and exciting mix of big and small, with plenty to explore. Read more about Komisen, or get your own stand here.
