The hosts have put a lot of love into the decor of this lovely cottage, which is cozy and homely with its muted pastel colors on the walls and personal touches in every room. There's a calm and informal vibe that's perfect for a relaxed summer cottage getaway with a slow pace of life. It's just a few hundred meters down to the water from here, and the cottage looks out over a peaceful meadow and on to the sea. With its undisturbed location, a pheasant, hare, buzzard or swallow is likely to pass by.

The kitchen and living room, which are open to each other, offer a particularly evocative view of the water and meadow. The intimate kitchen is beautifully decorated in natural colors and has everything you need, and the living room is cozy and calming with light wood tones. There's room to cozy up on the sofa while having a conversation with someone who's cooking in the kitchen. If you don't want to cook indoors, you can also cook delicious food on the fire or on the barbecue outside.

In the living room you'll find another cozy nook - a lovely, soft daybed filled with cushions and skins in front of the wood-burning stove, where you can snuggle up. The host's children love to sit here and look into the warm fire - and they also love the cottage's children's rooms, which are both decorated in pretty pastel colors and equipped with lovely toys. There's also the option of a travel cot for smaller children.

The bedroom, like the rest of the cottage, has a calm, relaxing vibe with the personalized decor with a touch of color here and there. The bathroom is small but functional and decorated with a common thread, adding coziness and a sense of well-being with baskets and knick-knacks. The cottage also has a small annex, which works well as an extra insulated bedroom where you can retreat for a good night's sleep, read a book in the corner or enjoy the view from your bed. The cottage feel is at the forefront here, where wicker furniture and delicate colors are spiced up with the warmth of more colorful knick-knacks.

The terrace is perfect for morning coffee overlooking the water, and the patio is sunny from midday and sheltered from the wind. Here you can lie back in the sun loungers and enjoy a peaceful moment. In the evening, it's sunny in front of the house where you can eat your dinner with a view of the peaceful fields.

If you're up for a water adventure, you can sail along the coast in the house's two-person kayak and enjoy the island from the sea. If you prefer land adventures, you can take a trip to Korshavn and around Avernak on one of the island bikes provided by the hosts. 200 meters from the house you will also find two beaches - a pebble beach with the possibility of finding fossils and a child-friendly sandy beach with a sandy bottom and shallow water.
