Our names are Rikke and Andreas, and we live in Vesterbro in Copenhagen with our three children. We are both teachers and love to escape to our little blue oasis when we need a break from everyday life. We love Betty Blue and the special peace that always accompanies our lives there. Our friends and families love it as much as we do, so it's often at 'Betty' that we get to spend some quality time with them.
The sandy beach at the end of the road is a daily 'must' - the most beautiful sunsets are seen here all year round and in the summer an evening swim in the last rays of sunshine is fantastic.
We use the area a lot for walking and cycling and in addition to trips to the beach, we love to walk along the pebble beach at Klint and the large forest areas in Odsherred. In the summer, the Tuskemarket in Vig is often on the program to find great flea market finds and our local flea shop 'Krage og ko' is worth a daily visit. We love visiting Nygårdens Gårdbutik and Birkemosegaard and in the summer months an ice cream from the local ice cream parlor in Lumsås is an extra treat.
