The vacation home was just as shown in the photos. There were 12 of us, and we split up among the three apartments. It was especially nice that my parents could have some privacy while we still got to hang out and have fun. We went on lots of walks, ate delicious food, and just enjoyed each other’s company.

Siw and Petter’s cabin was absolutely fantastic for six college friends on a trip! The cabin was in excellent condition—clean, tidy, and beautifully decorated. An extra bonus was the nice scented candles, so the cabin smelled wonderful when we arrived. The cabin is in a beautiful location with a stunning sunset in the evening, and we took advantage of the outdoor shower below the cabin, went for a swim in the ocean at the rocky beach near the cabin, and enjoyed a nice morning jog up to Bjørnåsen. We’d love to come back!

Fantastic surroundings. Relatively expensive considering the amenities: No decent pillows. No dishwasher No washing machine No wood-burning stove A worn-out house—cozy, but too expensive.

It was wonderful to spend a few days at Marianne and Knud’s cozy summer house. Even though it was windy and rainy while I was there, it was absolutely fantastic to sit inside by the large windows and enjoy the view of the water, with its rich birdlife and the HUGE cargo ships that glided quietly by a couple of times.
