The house at Gl. Strandly is very spacious and cozy at the same time. It is decorated in a thoughtful way that made us feel at home straight away. The kitchen is wonderfully equipped and there are opportunities to eat and stay in the large garden, both east and west of the house and in a larger pavilion with tables and seating for many people. The children enjoyed playing in the house and in the garden. We often went for walks along the coast and swam at the beach and a jetty near the harbor. There is also a restaurant directly in Kolby Kås that can only be recommended. We have had the best time possible at Gl. Strandly with Malene and Søren.

A beautiful gem that oozes personality and tranquillity with views across fields to Nordby Church. In the fields we could experience rich wildlife. It is fantastically secluded despite other cottages around, as the floor plan is well thought out. It's spacious and clean and lacks nothing in the interior. A great base whether your vacation is for 2 or more. Lovely annex.
