The house is located on a hill overlooking a small town on one side and the forest on the other. It is a well-appointed, beautiful house that we felt at home in. It's nice to be in a place where the kitchen is equipped to actually cook, the knives are sharp and there is enough crockery. The beds are good, a little soft for our taste, but that's a matter of taste. The bathroom is nice and the shower with good pressure. We spent our time in the forest on countless small forest trails and down by the water and we met very few other people. As a family, it was a magical time together as we were also super lucky with the weather. Our dog loved it too. Wifi was great, there is a heat pump, fireplace and radiators in the rooms. Supermarket is 11 min drive away. NB the access to the house is somewhat steep. There was good contact with Martin. Cons: You can often hear road noise from the nearest major road in the "valley", but I also think that the planting has been trimmed well against the noise, so maybe it will be muted when it grows up again. The house is not quite finished and is in the process of many small things, such as lamp sockets where wires are sticking out, missing moldings, but these are small things. There is construction on the site right now, as we were told a few days before we left. It does something to the aesthetic tranquility that we had expected and really needed. However, it seems that they are building quickly, but we would have liked to have been allowed to relate to that before we booked. That said, it's a place we'd like to return to once the family has finished building.

We had some wonderful days in the house over New Year and really enjoyed the tranquility and surroundings. The house is beautiful both inside and out and has a lovely indoor climate - even with the fireplace on. The large living room is perfect for hours in the kitchen or on the sofa with a fireplace and a view from the large windows. The house is relatively isolated and surrounded by fields and nature. The house is also close to a few good nature experiences, shopping opportunities, etc. all within driving distance. Lisemoe was the perfect host. Communication was easy and fast, she provided timely information and recommendations, and she was flexible in terms of departure time. 5/5 stars from here.
