Log cabin with view of Gaustatoppen

The cabin has a traditional, dark facade, reminiscent of a typical Norwegian mountain lodge. Here you can enjoy the fantastic view of Lake Tinnsjøen and Gaustatoppen. With a charming outdoor area with an elongated lawn, fruit trees and nearby forest trails, this cabin offers a cozy cabin atmosphere.

The traditional Norwegian cabin facade gives you just a taste of what to expect when you enter the cabin door. You'll find traditional wood-burning stoves, paintings and many small, traditional details. Note in particular the built-in bed in the living room, which is perhaps reminiscent of the traditional Norwegian folk tale "the seventh father in the house"? The traditional design choices bring a lot of charm into the cabin, without compromising on comfort as there is a toilet, shower and sauna inside the cabin.

The area around the cabin offers fantastic nature experiences all year round, such as endless walks and bike rides. In summer, you can walk to the waterfall in the forest by the cabin, and swim at the beach in Tinnsjøen where you can rent canoes and boats, and go fishing. In winter, the cabin is close to fantastic cross-country skiing trails in Skurvedalen, ice fishing on Tinnsjøen, and about 40 minutes from the magical Gaustatoppen ski resort. The cabin is a short distance from Rjukan, which offers tourist attractions such as Gaustatoppen where you can see one-sixth of mainland Norway, the Vemork industrial workers' museum, the Krossobanen cable car, Rjukan climbing park, and Rjukanbadet.
