From this classic Bohuslän house built in 1936, you can experience authentic island life in the heart of Koster. Here you are close to everything – from the ferry terminal and sandy beaches to cozy restaurants – while also having your own peaceful oasis to retreat to.
The house has been beautifully restored with respect for its original soul and character. The spacious floor plan makes it perfect for both family and friends, while the glass veranda, sunny porch and balcony offer first-class views of the lively maritime landscape of Ekenäs harbor.
The lush natural grounds offer both rocky shores and green pockets, with many cozy nooks where you can enjoy lazy summer days or gather for dinner under the open sky. There is always a quiet spot where you can retreat and just be.
Koster is an (almost) car-free island where bicycles are the perfect means of transportation. You can rent bikes just 100 meters from the house and explore everything from beautiful sandy beaches to picturesque fishing villages. At the pier, Kosters Rökeri awaits with fresh delicacies, and crab fishing is a must for the kids.

We are a Norwegian couple who have found our own definition of quality of life here on Koster. For us, it's about waking up to the sound of seagulls, enjoying our morning coffee on the steps, and feeling how the island has a unique ability to relax us – whatever the weather. We have put our heart and soul into preserving the historic character of the house, which dates back to 1936, and now we want to share this magical place with others.

It is a fantastic house with a truly charming and personal atmosphere where you immediately feel at home. It has a beautiful view and lots of light in the living room, romantically decorated rooms, and a feeling of being in the archipelago in the garden, where you feel private but can also keep an eye on what's going on around you. The house is nicely set back from the harbor, but still close by and with a view, and a short walk to exciting nature and a fantastic beach.
